Our safari is over and we cannot imagine how it could have been better. Your Company was recommended to us and it was everything they said it was. We asked for Rahim because they said how good he was and he was. His English, his knowledge, his personality and his sense of humour all contributed to us having a great time. We believe three main factors contribute to the success of any safari. The Tour Company which supports and plans the itinerary, the guide who makes it happen and the weather. The weather no one can control. We were very lucky the first week of April, it was perfect weather.
Arusha was very convenient being served by two airports. The accommodation and dining service in those properties were first class. Thank you so much. We would be pleased to add our experiences to anyone who wishes more information. The very best regards, Ross and Debra

Thank you Sadru, Fatma, Triza and Rahim. You organized a perfect safari. You were patient as we delayed a year due to Ebola . The time to come in low season worked out well . Not too hot, not to many people in the hotels and at the animal sightings. Every email or question was answered immediately . We loved dealing with this family-owned business!! This was our first trip to Africa. The Tanzanian people are genuinely happy and cheerful. We always felt safe. We had 8 days 7 night leaving from Arusha. Loved staying at Arumeru Lodge before the safari start. Both the Sopa lodge at Tarangire and the Serena lodge on the rim of the crater were excellent choices. Our favorite was the Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp. Unbelievable decor service and staff. Our driver Rahim with 14 yrs of experience was soo knowledgable, fun and an excellent driver . Each day he used his skills and his connections with other drivers to find every animal. We heard from other people that they had barely seen anything when we saw everything on your excellent checklist and more. We truly thought we had the best guide and experience possible and thank you all for your dedication to make this holiday fabulous. Rahim even organized a birthday celebration for Mona at Mbuzi Mawe Camp. Thanks to him and all the staff. Made my day! We will be recommending Discover Safaris and Rahim to everyone. Hello Fatma and Sadru,

My family and I want to thank you and Robert for arranging our East Africa travel and Safari. There was a lot of planning involved and you and your team patiently worked with us to get our trip just right. We especially appreciated the flexibility of the Skype call where we got to ask and get answers to our questions “in person” ☺

We are so pleased to let you know that our Safari experience both in the Ngorongoro and the Serengeti has been awe-inspiring and wonderful. We found our guide Pius to be very friendly, knowledgeable and we enjoyed his sense of humour. We appreciated his determination to ensure that we got to experience the incredible wildlife present both at Ngorongoro and Serengeti.

Day 1 of the Safari in Ngorongoro, we were lucky to see 4 of the big 5 within 3 hours of being in the crater and Pius made sure we got to see #5 (Leopard) in Serengeti. We encountered many special moments in the parks. One such moment was when we shut off the engine of the jeep and the cameras, and took the time to stand in the open jeep to inhale the profound and magical silence of the Serengeti Plains. Other breathtaking moments included being so very, very close to the giraffes and being the only jeep around as we came across a herd of elephants and their babies who then proceeded to surround us as the herd crossed the road.

While the westerly wind moved us away from the density of the animals, the experience of seeing the breathtaking sun rise over Serengeti during our Balloon Safari, along with having breakfast on the plains made it an unforgettable experience and definitely worth the early wake up time. Game or no game, I would highly recommend the Balloon safari.

Thank you for all your suggestions including confirming to us that February was a good time to do Safaris. The Zebra and the Wildebeest migration on our way to Ngorongoro/Serengeti and back to Arusha were stunning. As for the accommodations, Mt. Meru Hotel in Arusha and the Sopa Lodges were excellent choices with my personal favourite being the Ngorongoro Lodge.

It has been a pleasure organizing our Safari and East Africa visit with you. You can be proud of your incredibly professional, friendly and accommodating team. Please pass on our gratitude.

I just wanted to let you know that we, all of us, enjoyed our trip to Kenya tremendously. It was a fantastic time and both Richard and Francis were spectacular guides. They were accommodating, flexible and kind throughout the trip. They were knowledgeable and informative and willingly answered our numerous questions. Their attentive service made every day go smoothly and their determination helped us see a tremendous breadth of animal life.

The staff at the Fig Tree were especially earnest in their efforts to make our trip special. That bush breakfast overlooking the hippos was spectacular.

Thank you for arranging a superb vacation which exceeded our expectations in every way. We were a group of twelve people ranging from age 3 to 80, so it was no easy feat getting everyone to the other side of the world, but you made it possible. You provided great advice and a range of options that suited our needs. You indulged all of our requests, made sure that every detail was handled, and provided us with the BEST, including your best drivers who made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the Safari. We couldn’t have had better guides than Rahim and Pius, two extremely capable people who were knowledgeable, warm, engaging and gracious. The accommodations you arranged for us were amazing.

Dear Sadru, Fatma, Pousline and Triza,
Thank you all for a great trip. My wife wasn’t initially sure about the safari but just yesterday commented to a friend that it was her best trip! I have to say your team were the best I have ever dealt with in terms of providing spot on responses and overall communication in the trip planning stages. I have taken many trips, but you all were the best!
Everything on the trip went exactly as planned- we were met at each place, the lodges were as advertised, flights as planned (although sometimes on local time ☺). Given the number of places we went and always changing over to new people, the logistics could have been tricky but were handled flawlessly.
The lodges we worked on together to meet our needs turned out to be the highlight, and the perfect combination with the safari itself.
Great job- I am already recommending you to others!

Hi gents. It’s off to work at the hospital in Kiambu for me this coming week, fresh off a wonderful safari with my wife. You guys did a great job in every way and my wife and I are very appreciative.

We wanted to make special mention of our guide Francis. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, accommodating, flexible, kind, and just a pure pleasure to be with. An absolute gentleman and a scholar! He took a great experience and made it absolutely spectacular.

Lee and I will be back next year hopefully with our 3 daughters next time.
