I was referred to Sadru by a colleague, and had been pleased by the level of service. Sadru and team were professional and quick to respond. They catered the itinerary to our budget, and made us feel extremely comfortable with the travel arrangements. Upon arrival, our Safari guide picked us up from the airport and escorted us on our first day in Nairobi. We visited two parks–Masai Mara and Serengeti, and both guides, John & Elly, were exceptional!! I cannot recommend them more. Our itinerary was purely for the Safari experience, so we didn’t add any treking to it. I later realized that our level of activity was quite sedentary–eat, sit and stand up. Next time, I would add a trek to our itinerary.

This safari company was recommended by other family members and we were not disappointed. Sadru and his staff are meticulous, attentive and very perceptive to their clients needs. We were 3 couples. 3 of us were somewhat reluctant participants to start with. By the end we were all naturalists and nature lovers. It was a flawless trip. Our guide was RAHIM. He has become my brother now! We had a flawless trip. Since we went in late January we went to Ndutu which was the highlight. Accommodations, food and the warmth of staff were wonderful. Rahim went over and beyond . He has a great eye and superb instinct. Of course we saw all the animals that one is expected to see. What was also great was the Birding with Rahim!. We saw around 80% of the birds listed in my bird book. Thanks to Sadru and Rahim

Since 1969 I have continuously visited East Africa. Last week I returned from my 28th safari which I enjoyed together with my son Robert. Like many of my safaris the last one, too, has been organized by Discover Safaris. The quality of their service is outstanding in every respect, and I can judge that!
It is this perfectly tuned interplay between a very professional and customer orientated office service on one side and devoted and well-educated driver guides on the other side. All arrangements were handled carefully, the itinerary made up to our individual requirements, and unobtrusive suggestions enriched the program. Once we left the airport in Nairobi we were pampered until we left the country again. This time we visited Mount Kenya, Samburu and Sweetwaters. Our driver guide Francis enabled great encounters with African wildlife and we came home with unforgettable impressions. I will always choose Discover, if I want to invest in good African memories. I will send you some of my new gorgeous photos for free use, they are the best proof of our wonderful experience.

Now that we’re back in Canada, I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our safari. From when I initially contacted you up until our departure date, you and Triza were so good at responding quickly to my e-mails and many questions, and didn’t seem fazed by our requests for changes to the itinerary. The safari itself more than exceeded our expectations, as we saw more wildlife than we could have imagined! Rahim, our driver, was extremely knowledgeable and amazed us all with his ability to spot animals while navigating along dirt roads or driving along the highway. He was also very patient with answering our many questions :-) The accommodations were all fantastic, as they were clean, well-appointed, and some had fabulous views. Finally, the food was amazing! I think we probably all gained weight on the safari, as not only was there plenty of food available for all meals, but it was delicious.
Thank you to you, Triza, and Rahim for helping to make our vacation in Tanzania such an amazing and memorable experience.

Discover Safaris was recommended to me by a friend who went on a Discover safari for his honeymoon. I just wanted say how much our group of 3 couples enjoyed our safari with Discover Tanzania. We saw all the animals and the food and lodgings were fantastic. We just returned to Canada after our wonderful trip Oct 10-16 to Tanzania. We had a wonderful time and wanted to give a special recommendation to our guide Rahim from Arusha. He was a great guide for our group and amazed us with his great knowledge of animals and the parks, and his big smile, kind heart and sense of humor. We can’t imagine a better guide and wanted to let you know how happy we are with the service he provided to us. Please pass on our sincere thanks to Rahim. We miss him, already!

Discover Kenya/Discover Tanzania was recommended to us by friends and now we will recommend them to everyone! Their staff and guides are amazing. We knew the safari areas we wanted to visit, but Sadru worked with us to come up with a suitable itinerary so as to not waste our time travelling between areas. It was an ambitious three week schedule, which they arranged magnificently – four safari areas in Kenya, two safari areas in Tanzania, plus a few days to relax in Zanzibar before flying home. They arranged all ground transportation and internal flights. I believe Robert also helped with our itinerary. All accommodations were first class. We especially enjoyed Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp. Sadru was so patient in answering our many email questions promptly and with lots of information throughout the planning process. He met us personally in Nairobi to brief us, and his office kept in close contact with our guides throughout our safari.
Our guides made our safari experience very enjoyable, and one to be remembered forever! JJ in Nairobi, Victor and Jackson in Kenya, and Elly in Tanzania. They were all so professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I swear these guys have eyes like hawks and made it possible for us to see the Big Five and more. What is truly amazing is that no matter how many times the small airlines changed their flight schedules, the guides always got us to the airstrips on time, and never once failed to be waiting for us at our destination. At the end of each day, they discussed with us the activities for the next day, so it was always clear what we were going to do, and they always asked if we wanted any changes.
At the end of our trip, Sadru sent Jackson to meet us at the Nairobi airport with the purchases we had made throughout our trip and had sent back to the office with our guides, as we couldn’t haul extra stuff around with us for three weeks.
Discover Safaris is the best – thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this trip of a lifetime!

Thanks again for the arrangement and we are very enjoy the journey of this time. Sadru has arranged everything for us, he’s so responsible and patient for all the things we asked. Our two guides Victor and Sifuni are excellent and full of fantastic eye of wildlife. They show us a lot, the migration, the cross, all the big cats, the hunting… It’s also very nice that when we call for the problem of water, and they solve the problem very fast. The whole trip we feel is safe and exciting. I will highly recommend them to my friends and the people who would like to visit east Africa. Wish we will come back again!

Discover Safaris was recommended to our family by a friend who frequently travels to Kenya. We could not have been more happy with the trip that was planned for us by this wonderful and attentive group.
Sadru and Triza took great care in planning an itinerary that took into account our travel interests; our seamless trip included stays in Sweetwater, Samburu and the Mara. They checked in with us throughout the trip to ensure that all of our travel needs were met. Fatma was kind enough to meet us in person upon our entry and departure from Nairobi and checked in on us throughout our ten day stay. John, our guide for the first portion of our journey, was friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy – – we all thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him and having him guide us through our game drives.

Discover Safaris was recommended by a friend, and I am so happy we decided to go the Masai Mara with them!
We planned our trip at the last minute, and Triza and Sadru were very patient – Triza guided me through various itineraries and planned our entire trip, we were picked up from Nairobi and dropped back.
Our tour guide was Jackson, and he was wonderful – he chatted with us the whole way and went out of his way to make sure we spotted the Big Five! We stayed at the Mara Leisure Camp, and were very happy with all the arrangements.
Overall, my family and I enjoyed our time very much – and I would definitely recommend planning your trip with Discover Safaris!

Fatma, Sadru (the owners) and Triza are very professional and easy to communicate with down to the smallest detail including having a sand bag ready for my photography. They also arrange all transportation including meeting us on arrival, and all internal flights. The 11 day itinerary included visiting Amboseli in Kenya and then into Tanzania were we visited Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro ( a must experience), Ndutu for off road tracking, and then into the Serengeti!
Every lodge including the Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp were first class in every way. What really made the Safari such a great experience for us once we hit the road were the 2 driver/guides, John in Kenya and Sifuni in Tanzania. They were very professional, friendly, and accommodating. We enjoyed their company and their knowledge of the local history and traditions in the areas we visited and their incredible ability to track down the animals every day made the safari something we will never forget.
I have no hesitation is recommending Discover Safaris and hope to be back for another amazing safari in the near future.
