This is the second time that I have arranged a safari through Discover Safaris and I am truly impressed that the service and knowledge of the staff is amazing. Although there are many companies in this space, we have been extremely happy with their professionalism. From the inception of planning the trip tailored to our needs, the communication and emails, the friendly and knowledgable guides, the staff meeting us at the airports, the hotel arrangements and overall the ease of dealing with this superb organization is a class in itself. I would highly recommend this company and I thank you for making it so memorable for my son and myself.

On behalf of everyone, I would like to thank you and your staff and partners for making our vacation a truly memorable experience .
From the minute we landed in Kigali to the time we left Zanzibar, we felt completely pampered and well taken care of. Thank you for adjusting to all our last minute changes and for giving us an opportunity( esp mom) to experience novel adventures. Rahim was very kind and knowledgable and was able to point out a ton of wildlife. The guides in Kigali and in Zanzibar were also very helpful and good.
Once again a big thank you from all of us.

Thank you to Fatma, Kasu, Sadru, Triza, JJ and Rahim! We were recommended to you and had a wonderful experience from day one. Triza was excellent in helping plan our perfect trip. It was wonderful to meet Triza, Fatma and Kasu in Nairobi and go through what to expect on our safaris. JJ was wonderful during our stay in Nairobi. Rahim was an excellent guide and we will never forget him. His knowledge and love for the animals was evident and our safaris would not have been the same without him. Thank you Rahim. Fatma, thank you for always staying in touch and making sure we were taken care of at all our other stops throughout Tanzania. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour company and have already told all our friends and family! Keep up the excellent work and all the best.

We planned a trip to TANZANIA in end of June 2016. It was an important trip to me as it was a family trip for the 65th Birthday of my mom and I was travelling with my son (11 years old). So I needed a very safe and well organize trip (safe and secure with a patient guide as my mother and son are French and they speak just little English.)
First I have to say that working on our trip with Triza was so easy, she was present all the time and helping us with all our questions. She was quick in responding and so patient, she helped us to feel at ease about our trip.
Concerning Accommodation, it was excellent. The first Night in Arusha we slept in Zawadi house a very simple and charming house with a small but very nice garden and such a nice and welcoming staff that try to do their best to make us feel at ease and such a nice ‘cuisine’ simple but very good. (a special mention for the Maramboi Camp (that I highly recommend) as the rooms were extremely charming, the staff was so kind and welcoming and the outside was stunning, we loved it (our best experience !!) . We liked a lot also the Kati Kati Camp; very welcoming staff also and the experience was impressive (we slept under tent but it was such a nice adventure, we could hear the lions and Hyenas at night !!)
Our Guide Pius was very nice, calm and helpful. We asked him a lot about animals, and life in Tanzania… He could spoke a little French and made a great effort especially for us ! (It was very nice)
Thanks you again for your professionalism.

Thanks to all at Discover Kenya, particularly Triza, for helping us design a wonderful itinerary for our 2016 visit to Kenya!
Our guides, Francis (Discover Kenya), Norman (Lewa) and Julius (Governor’s) were wonderful, most particularly Francis. Each of them helped us to further our knowledge and understanding of Kenya and the wildlife we encountered. We enjoyed Victor’s company as well as we navigated around Nairobi.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Boma Hotel in Nairobi and every camp on the itinerary…..Ithumba, Tortilis, Lewa and Governor’s. The Boma was perfectly located for visiting the DSWT nursery and access to the airports. At all the safari camps, management and staff were welcoming and gracious. Of particular note, the managing couple at Lewa arranged a private patio dinner one night for us and a hilltop breakfast & hilltop sundowner…quite lovely. Transfers to all of our in country destinations were seamless with both Yellow Wings and Air Kenya.
Again, thank you for everything! We treasure our 25 days in Kenya in June 2016 and are already considering a return trip in 2018. We have and will continue to recommend your services to others.

We were recommended to Discover Safaris and Fatma when planning our trip to Kenya, and we are more than happy that we followed that recommendation. Fatma was – right from the beginning – very helpful with suggestions and planning of our itinerary and we commend her patience as we had to change the numbers in the party a couple of times. Right from our arrival in Kenya at the airport to our departures to different destinations, everything worked like a clockwork – friendly, efficient and professional. The lodges in the game parks recommended by them were wonderful, our only regret being that we couldn’t stay there longer! Richard our driver/guide was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Our future trips to that region will be only through Discover Safaris. We were 3 couples (friends) from different countries on this trip. We thank Fatma and her team for this wonderful experience and 10 days of a great trip.

Our safari is over and we cannot imagine how it could have been better. Your Company was recommended to us and it was everything they said it was. We asked for Rahim because they said how good he was and he was. His English, his knowledge, his personality and his sense of humour all contributed to us having a great time. We believe three main factors contribute to the success of any safari. The Tour Company which supports and plans the itinerary, the guide who makes it happen and the weather. The weather no one can control. We were very lucky the first week of April, it was perfect weather.
Arusha was very convenient being served by two airports. The accommodation and dining service in those properties were first class. Thank you so much. We would be pleased to add our experiences to anyone who wishes more information. The very best regards, Ross and Debra

Thank you Sadru, Fatma, Triza and Rahim. You organized a perfect safari. You were patient as we delayed a year due to Ebola . The time to come in low season worked out well . Not too hot, not to many people in the hotels and at the animal sightings. Every email or question was answered immediately . We loved dealing with this family-owned business!! This was our first trip to Africa. The Tanzanian people are genuinely happy and cheerful. We always felt safe. We had 8 days 7 night leaving from Arusha. Loved staying at Arumeru Lodge before the safari start. Both the Sopa lodge at Tarangire and the Serena lodge on the rim of the crater were excellent choices. Our favorite was the Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp. Unbelievable decor service and staff. Our driver Rahim with 14 yrs of experience was soo knowledgable, fun and an excellent driver . Each day he used his skills and his connections with other drivers to find every animal. We heard from other people that they had barely seen anything when we saw everything on your excellent checklist and more. We truly thought we had the best guide and experience possible and thank you all for your dedication to make this holiday fabulous. Rahim even organized a birthday celebration for Mona at Mbuzi Mawe Camp. Thanks to him and all the staff. Made my day! We will be recommending Discover Safaris and Rahim to everyone. Best regards to all of you Mona and Gord.

    Hello Fatma and Sadru,

My family and I want to thank you and Robert for arranging our East Africa travel and Safari. There was a lot of planning involved and you and your team patiently worked with us to get our trip just right. We especially appreciated the flexibility of the Skype call where we got to ask and get answers to our questions “in person” ☺

We are so pleased to let you know that our Safari experience both in the Ngorongoro and the Serengeti has been awe-inspiring and wonderful. We found our guide Pius to be very friendly, knowledgeable and we enjoyed his sense of humour. We appreciated his determination to ensure that we got to experience the incredible wildlife present both at Ngorongoro and Serengeti.

Day 1 of the Safari in Ngorongoro, we were lucky to see 4 of the big 5 within 3 hours of being in the crater and Pius made sure we got to see #5 (Leopard) in Serengeti. We encountered many special moments in the parks. One such moment was when we shut off the engine of the jeep and the cameras, and took the time to stand in the open jeep to inhale the profound and magical silence of the Serengeti Plains. Other breathtaking moments included being so very, very close to the giraffes and being the only jeep around as we came across a herd of elephants and their babies who then proceeded to surround us as the herd crossed the road.

While the westerly wind moved us away from the density of the animals, the experience of seeing the breathtaking sun rise over Serengeti during our Balloon Safari, along with having breakfast on the plains made it an unforgettable experience and definitely worth the early wake up time. Game or no game, I would highly recommend the Balloon safari.

Thank you for all your suggestions including confirming to us that February was a good time to do Safaris. The Zebra and the Wildebeest migration on our way to Ngorongoro/Serengeti and back to Arusha were stunning. As for the accommodations, Mt. Meru Hotel in Arusha and the Sopa Lodges were excellent choices with my personal favourite being the Ngorongoro Lodge.

It has been a pleasure organizing our Safari and East Africa visit with you. You can be proud of your incredibly professional, friendly and accommodating team. Please pass on our gratitude.
    Thanks from all of us!
