Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Located in the very south-west of Uganda, adjacent to Virunga National Park in DRC (Congo) and just a few kilometres north of the Virunga Volcanoes in Rwanda. One of the most biologically diverse areas on earth, it is home to half of the world's endangered mountain gorillas.

Queen Elizabeth National Park

Located in south-west Uganda, it contains many attractions including Kazinga Channel (connecting Lake George and Lake Edward, with a massive concentration of hippo and also crocodile), the Ishasha area in the south of the park (known for tree-climbing, black-maned lions) and Kyambura Gorge (with a high density of primate life).
