Tarangire Destinations

  • Tarangire Treetops ($500-845 pppn)

    Twenty elevated rooms around a main lodge that has been built around a 1000-year-old baobab tree, this is a fantastical and luxurious experience. The location is outside the park, to the northeast.

  • Oliver’s Camp ($250-795 pppn)

    Ten luxury tents with excellent service, located in the less-visited southeastern section of the park.

  • Tarangire Sopa Lodge ($175-340 pppn)

    75-room lodges with good quality food and facilities, and well-located inside the park.

  • Tarangire Safari Lodge ($ pppn)

    Oldest and famous property in the park with an excellent location.

  • Maramboi Tented Camp ($180-215 pppn)

    Forty tents actually located on the southeastern shores on Lake Manyara, but actually situated to visit Tarangire (the main gate is located just further to the southeast).

  • Sanctuary Swala Camp ($370-790 pppn)

    Twelve canvas pavilions (tents) with wifi located in a secluded area in the west of the park.

  • Balloon Camp Tarangire ($175-330 pppn)

    Ten tents close to Boundary Hill on the eastern edge of the park.

  • Kikoti Safari Camp ($ pppn)

    Eighteen bandas located outside the park.

  • Tarangire River Camp ($205-305 pppn)

    Twenty-one tents located close to the main entrance of Tarangire.

  • Tarangire Simba Lodge ($ pppn)

    New lodge that opened in July 2015 with eight tents, located outside of the Sangaiwe gate on the western side of the park.
