Kasu
A past as a building contractor might not seem connected to the tourist industry, until you consider that Kasu was involved in the building or renovation of several iconic lodges, including Mara Sopa (one of the oldest lodges in the Masai Mara) and Amboseli Serena. Before that he ran garages/service stations in Nairobi and out in Tigoni. He later brought all this logistical experience to bear at Discover, ensuring the smooth management of all the operations behind the scenes.

Sadru
Growing up in the offices on weekends and holidays, and tagging along with Fatma on site visits to game parks and lodges as a child, wildlife and tourism are in Sadru’s blood. His initial degree was in Biology, studying Animal Behaviour, and later acquired a further degree focusing in economic policy. He worked as an economist, working on financial markets, energy and environment, and carried out a project for the World Bank in Tanzania. He is now working to ensure that Discover and tourism in East Africa can navigate and anticipate the environmental, population and commercial stresses we face, and forge a strong, green future for the safari ecosystems.

Triza
Triza is a tour de force at Discover, having come to us directly from Utalii College in 1993 with her diploma in Tour Guiding (Happy 20 Years!). She loves the job, but it seems like the job loves her more – clients spanning two decades swear by her sweet nature and meticulous planning. She revels in the dynamic nature of the industry, and meeting people from all walks of life and the globe, and has even had demand to lead some groups from time to time.
